About this horse

Disciplines: Buckskin-Bred, Halter, Intermediate Rider Recommended, Overo, Palomino-Bred, Performance, Ranch Rail Class, Ranch Riding-Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Trail Class, Show Experience Jimmy is a Star. He is so beautiful people come from all over to see him. He is so sweet and funny they come back to see him again and again. He’s a real character. He loves people and wants to be involved in every conversation. He is spoiled and that’s how I like it. I bought him to be my beautiful pleasure riding horse but my granddaughter did show him for a season and won her classes. He’s been shown Halter, Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Western Riding, and Trail. She was going to do English Pleasure too. He’s had years of training with two National Champions, Kathy Bast of Sunrise Farms and Vicki Halsey of Halsey Training Center. I didn’t like the unnatural half jog, half lope, so I have been working on getting that out of him. I know it’s popular now but unnatural to me as a previous Western Pleasure World Champion myself. Jimmy is spirited and yet calm. He can be feeling his oats one minute and lazy another. My grandchildren are safe on him but he’s not a push button horse. An intermediate rider is best. He hasn’t been with a trainer for two years, as I moved out of the show barn and to a ranch with trails which I had plans on concentrating on. Jimmy is a drop dead gorgeous Palomino Paint with a rare four registries, Palomino, Paint, Pinto and Buckskin. APHA #985,525; PHAA #142,303; PHBA #86,479; ABRA #25,522 Jimmy is 18k but I am adding all of his tack for 25k. This includes a ZAYAS custom silver show saddle which was originally $10k, I added the extra wide silver show stirrups $500 but have the originals, two Fleming bits, his fav a copper roller valued at $1000 and a Fleming silver show Low Port valued at $400. Fleming bits are renowned. A custom made Turquoise headstall which looks gorgeous on Jimmy and I paid $1k, another silver show headstall $800, two leather reins and a rope set of reins. Silver show stirrups on the ZAYAS show saddle and I have the original leather stirrups. Silver show Breast collar. Other various silver show and work bits. Gorgeous Argentina made Rough Out work saddle, brand new used twice $600. Got it because it was light weight. Crosby English saddle with pad and two girths. Light weight Leatherette show saddle with matching headstall, needs cleaning. Fourth saddle is an older Ranch work saddle. Fifth saddle is a beautiful silver show saddle that I use for my regular work saddle. The ZAYAS is for the show ring but this certainly could go in a show ring too. Super comfortable and keeps me and Jimmy shining in the ring or on trail. Just because. Tack is worth atleast 12-15k. Jimmy must go to a great home. No ands, ifs or buts.
