Temperament & Management
The Forward Ride
Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.
About this horse
Trail-oriented and best suited to an experienced rider, this 5-year-old AQHA Quarter Horse bay mare is described as forward-moving and more comfortable in trail use than in speed events, though she has done games previously. She reportedly rides out alone and is not buddy sour, suggesting some independence outside a group setting. The listing also makes clear that she remains a young project: she has bucked before, may pull back when frightened, and is not represented as beginner safe. Management notes include current vaccinations, recent Coggins and dental care, a chipped tooth that a veterinarian reportedly felt was not problematic, and shoes with pads due to weaker heels.
