About this horse

$12,500 USD NEGOTIABLE 2009 AQHA bay mare. Looking for your next jackpot horse, a step up horse for your kids, or something to amateur rodeo on? This horse has been there done that. Don’t let her age fool you, she was started late and has only been running barrels for the last 5 or 6 years. She is in her PRIME and ready to hit the road with her new rider. Consistently running 2D-3D times but has creeped up to the 1D at smaller races. Placed in the top 10 or just out of the money at most every open rodeo she ran at this last summer with lots of girls entered. She is a push style horse and is very ratey. Loads, hauls, stands tied, stands for the farrier. She is usually barefoot but I did put a full set of shoes on her this last summer since I was hauling her so much. This horse can be hauled and ran every single weekend or sit all winter and come back the exact same horse in the spring. Outside of the barrel pen, she has been used a lot to gathered cows, has roped and drug cows, calf’s and even some rodeo bulls at a practice pen. She has come out of a breakaway box a handful of times and done great, but I am not a great roper so she hasn’t done it enough to be considered finished. She is a solid horse and is willing to do anything you throw at her.
