Temperament & Management
The Old Soul
Measured, forgiving, and built for teaching. This horse has processed enough chaos to stop being bothered by most of it. Won't set the ring on fire, but won't let you fall on your face either. Gives back exactly what you put in - with a little grace on top.
About this horse
Used as a riding and driving draft mare, this 9-year-old registered Belgian red roan has experience both single and double and has been worked around farm machinery, including pulling logs. The listing describes her as an easy ride that has carried beginners, with a quiet way of going and a strong preference for walking; she will trot on request and canter with more encouragement. She is also represented as willing to travel through or over obstacles whether alone or with other horses. The seller notes prior broodmare use, three roan foals, and no reported foaling complications, while also stating she has not been shown.
