Registered APHA. Standing 15.3 hands. Lady Jane is an easy keeper and does great on pasture. She currently has front shoes and stands quietly for the farrier. We currently have her in a pasture with a single strand electric fence, and she respects it well. She stands tied patiently and loads and unloads quietly. She is very responsive and does whatever you ask. She side passes well, making it easy to open gates. She has no buck, bite, cribbing, weaving, or other bad habits. She is more go than whoa, but will stop when asked. My favorite thing about her is how responsive she is under saddle. She is always listening and ready to please. She is level headed on the trail and not spooky. I think she would make a very nice barrel horse. She is a solid mare that could go in any direction. A previous owner has hauled and ridden her at STAR rodeos. She has some roping experience but can get a little hot in the box. She is sweet when interacting with kids but is not suitable for a beginner or young rider. My kids have spent hours on her while being led around our property. She is best suited for an intermediate to experienced rider. She gets along great with other horses and cows and also does well alone. PPE done March 2026 with sound results.
