About this horse

$25,000 USD NEGOTIABLE Disciplines: Hunter, Intermediate Rider Recommended, Jumping After Midnight, known as “Gizmo,” is a striking 17.1 hand APHA Red Dun Overo gelding with an eye-catching presence and a strong foundation for a competitive future. Gizmo is in a consistent 6-day-a-week training program at a professional hunter/jumper barn. He has been lightly shown this past year with a junior rider and has continued to progress steadily in his flatwork and over fences. He is confidently schooling 2’6” courses at home with the scope and athleticism to move up in height as his training advances. He has proven to be brave and straightforward, showing little hesitation to new questions. Due to some quirky ground manners, Gizmo would be best suited for a more experienced rider or program that can continue to develop him correctly. Under saddle, however, he is forward-thinking, trainable, and eager to do his job. With his size, presence, and continued professional training, Gizmo is an exciting prospect for a rider looking for a talented young horse to bring along.
