Temperament & Management
The Thinker
Engaged, responsive, and always a step ahead of you - in its head. Has opinions, and the sensitivity to express them. Needs a rider who shows up with a plan and follows through consistently. Rewarding when the communication clicks; confusing when it doesn't.
About this horse
Trail and light pleasure use are the most realistic directions indicated for this 4-year-old palomino Morgan mare, who is also presented as a breeding prospect. The listing describes her as friendly, people-oriented, and easy to handle, with a foundation in basic handling but no under-saddle start yet. A significant disclosure is a foalhood hock joint infection that caused permanent joint changes. Seller states she remains comfortable in pasture life and for everyday use, but places her outside an intensive performance track and instead toward broodmare duty or limited recreational riding.
