About this horse

$3,500 FOR SALE: 2011 grade Mare Name: Stormi Breed: quarter horse Registered: grade Height: 15'1 Age: 14 Location: Winfield, MO Other info: Due to no fault of her own. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time she deserves. Has not been consistently ridden. However, you can go months without riding her and she's the same every time. Does not kick, bite, buck, or rear. ... ( read more ) She does get hot headed so experienced rider needed. Loads, ties, hauls well, and stands for the farrier but can be antsy sometimes. She is best suited for someone who understands maintenance and is an experienced rider. Radiographs taken 2024 showed entheseophytes present in medial suspensory branch. May need ultrasound to further diagnose. Vet did not see a need for it with light riding. No heat, swelling, or pain. Price is reflected for this. May be able to lightly be barrel horse but not competively. Cosmetic scar on right rear leg (purely cosmetic and does not affect performance). She currently is turned out in pasture and is only stalled when eating. She is turned out with geldings and mares. She can also be in a stall but the more turn out time the better. Does fine alone or with a group on trails.
