He is a big puppy dog, in your pocket, sweet soul. Wonderful ground manners, easy to work with, and a sweet heart. Under saddle he is such a fun horse! Enjoyable, comfortable to be on, a bit of a push ride, he likes more whoa than go but will move up when asked, he is responsive to your leg and light in the bridle. He is very willing and tries to please his rider. ... ( read more ) He is adjustable within each gate, an uncomplicated and straightforward ride. He has a lead change, you have to ask, it is not automatic yet. He rides inside, outside, in an arena or a field, and on trails. Johnny is a barn favorite to ride, to groom, and hangout with. He is easy to bathe, load, trailer, tie. He thrives in a program, but if he has a couple of days off he is still the same guy. He would be perfect for a kid or an adult, from an advanced beginner with a trainer on up. He is barefoot, an easy keeper, up to date on vaccinations and farrier. No vices!
