Bennett stands tied for the farrier, is easy to catch and bathe, and really seeks out attention. He is currently 14.1 hands tall, with some growth still to come, as he is only 3 years old. Bennett has a solid foundation under saddle and on the ground. He will walk, trot, and lope on the correct lead. He will ride out alone on the trail or is happy to follow the group and wear a pack. Bennett crosses water, bridges, and natural obstacles with ease. He has also been lunged over a couple of jumps. This well-mannered gelding loads easily into any trailer, remains calm and non-reactive, and accepts a blanket with ease. Bennett is handled daily with no vices on the ground, in the stall, or under saddle, except being a little gate sour sometimes. Bennett is currently being consistently ridden, as we plan to take him to a small local show in the coming weeks.
