About this horse

At Auction – Sale Date: Mar 10, 2026 Disciplines: Draft, Dressage, Driving, Eventing, Family-Safe, Husband-Safe, Sporthorse, Trail Riding, Western Dressage, Western Riding D&D Dolly(Penny) is a Friesian/Belgian cross mare with the best of both breeds! She is sweet and quiet enough for younger riders, while still having enough energy and athletic ability for adults. She is registered with the Friesian Sport Horse registery. Penny moves off leg pressure, is soft in the bridle, and listens to seat and voice aids. She has been ridden on trails, and crosses creeks and logs. She'll walk, trot, and canter circles on either lead, on a loose rein or on the bit. Penny has been ridden western, English, and bareback, by a variety of riders. Penny is also trained to drive, she stands to hitch, and has been driven on the road and through town. She has great barn manners, and loads and ties well. 100% safe and sound. She sells March 10 at Mt Hope Auction. Online bidding is available, and you are welcome to try her out before the auction.
