He has been on group trail rides with all kinds of horses, confidently gone through water, crossed over logs, and taken every obstacle in stride. He has been used to check cows and navigate real ranch chores without any fuss. This gelding has three incredibly smooth gaits and is soft in the bridle. He side passes up to the mounting block and sits down on cue. He has been ridden Western, English, and bareback—and for those who like to ride without reins, Ace is confident and responsive when going bridle less. On top of all that, he also drives and makes a wonderful family carriage horse. Desensitized and solid-minded, Ace is unfazed by gunshots, cracking whips, traffic, and busy environments. He wears shoes on all four feet because of where we ride, but he has got solid, healthy feet and can go barefoot if you prefer.
