About this horse

At Auction – Sale Date: Mar 09, 2026 Disciplines: 4H, All-Around Show, Barefoot Hoofcare, Beginner-Safe, Competitive Trail Riding, Cowboy Mounted Shooting, Cowhorse, Drill Team, English, English Pleasure Mocha is an 8-year-old grade Appaloosa mare standing 14.2 hands. She’s confident, seasoned, and takes care of her rider every step of the way. Mocha is a true point and go horse with zero spook. She’s been ridden straight from the house, through town, around traffic and farm equipment, and even to the lake where she absolutely loves the water. She has also been used to gather cattle out in Nebraska and has proven to be calm, reliable, and handy in real world working situations. She loves arena work and is incredibly smooth to ride. Mocha picks up both leads effortlessly, has a very soft mouth, and is extremely responsive to cues. She moves along at a comfortable, medium-soft pace that you can ride for hours. Mocha has been ridden English and Western and has been started over cross rails with zero hesitation. She will go wherever she’s pointed. She’s confident, and willing. Mocha loves to have a job. This mare is an absolute sweetheart and loves kids. She’s kind, patient, and safe, making her suitable for any level of rider, from beginners to more experienced riders wanting a trustworthy partner. On the ground, she’s easy to handle, stands quietly for grooming and tacking, and is a pleasure to be around. Mocha has been exposed to cows, farm animals, traffic, noise, and new environments, making her an excellent choice for a family horse, trail rider, arena rider, trail obstacle, or lower-level English prospect. She is barefoot, an extremely easy keeper, and 100% sound - the kind you can enjoy without extra maintenance or surprises.
