$12,500 USD Disciplines: All-Around Show, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Mountain Trail, Roping-Rope Super athletic, sensitive, smart, and trainable three year-old mare. Opal has been worked in a surcingle, saddles, ground drives, loads in trailer, hauls quiet, and stands for the Farrier for trims (She has never had shoes on). She enjoys having a job and is engaged when working. She bridles up and is light in the mouth. Opal is sensitive and needs to be taken slow this is the only reason I am selling her as I am in my masters program and working full-time and I don’t have the time to bring her along. I hate selling her because I don’t have anything that can out run her in my barn once she’s trained, I have her older brother who barrel races, jumps, and is started on roping. All of the horses out of this sire are multi event athletes and willing to try anything. Opal should finish between 15.3 and 16 hands. She does have a small bump on her right front leg from putting her leg through a panel as a baby. The vet cleared this and she is 100% sound. She’s ready for someone who is confident to take the time to bring her along. She should finish out as a 1D barrel horse or take her in any other direction.
