About this horse

$14,000 USD Disciplines: Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Cowboy Mounted Shooting, Cowhorse, Horsemanship, Mountain Trail, Ranch Riding-Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Versatility, Ranch Work, Western Riding Frenchie has done a little bit of everything: • Barrel racing • Low-level cow horse • Women’s triathlon • Day working cattle • Tracking the breakaway dummy like it personally offended him • Dragging logs because apparently he missed the memo about being a pleasure horse. He hauls well, loads easily, stands for the farrier, bathes like a champ, and goes to new places without completely melting down. Will ride out alone or with friends and doesn’t spend the entire ride screaming back at the barn like some horses we know. He’s handy, quick-footed, and the kind of horse that makes you feel like a cowboy when you ride him correctly. Now for the honesty section, because nobody likes a surprise rodeo: Frenchie is not looking for a timid passenger or someone whose riding experience only consists of posting inspirational horse quotes online. • Can be spooky in certain indoor arenas (he suspects ghosts). • Cautious with new riders until he determines whether you’re the boss or just visiting. • Maintained with hock injections, because athletes have maintenance and he plans to stay athletic. Ideal home: someone confident who wants a fun little ranch/speed/cow horse that actually has a motor and isn’t just a decorative pasture ornament.
