Bentley is a versatile gelding and will be an asset to anyone. He is very gentle and easy under saddle. He has slow and comfortable gaits and is uncomplicated. Bentley is stocky enough to carry just about any size rider. He has packed along everyone from kids to grannies and has always taken great care of his rider. He loves the trails and will go over under or through anything and will even swim with his rider. ... (read more) He is not spooky. In the arena he will walk, jog and lope in both directions and he knows his leads. He has smooth transitions between gaits and will lope off from a standstill. Bentley spent time as a ranch horse and did many jobs on the ranch. He is pretty easy to get along with and is very willing. He loves adventure. He has been shown in local schooling shows in ranch riding and pleasure and he did well. He will ride alone or in a group and is happy to lead or follow. Bentley has most recently been used as a guest horse and has toted around very beginners to more experienced riders. He is a great all around guy and a pleasure to have in the barn. He is very personable and loves to “smile”. He is currently barefoot but may need shoes depending on his level of work and the terrain.
