About this horse

Private Treaty Message for Price Disciplines: Advanced Rider Recommended, Barefoot Hoofcare, Barrel Racing, Champion Pedigree, Cowhorse, Performance, Ranch Versatility A Twisted Mistress is a 5-year-old (6 in May) AQHA registered mare, standing 15 hands, with a good foundation and a willing, thoughtful mind. She goes back to First Down Dash and Streakin Six, offering proven Quarter Horse performance bloodlines and versatility. This mare has a nice start and is continuing to progress with consistent training. She was most recently professionally trained with Jessica Flaherty (30 days) and ridden solid during that time and followed up with more training in Groundwork Fundamentals. This mare has been invested in with her best outcomes in mind. She previously had been trail ridden and crosses water, logs, and varied terrain, gaining confidence with exposure and mileage. This sweet girl has had a late start due to no fault of her own. -Loads easily in the trailer -Stands quietly for the farrier (currently barefoot) -Sweet, 'in your pocket' curious and eager to learn She would be best suited for an experienced rider or program looking to continue her education and bring her along in the direction of their choosing. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys developing a young horse with a solid foundation and plenty of performance potential. 📍 Located in Maine
