Rio is great on the trail; he crosses water, navigates obstacles, jumps right into the trailer, and is generally a pleasure to have around. He is easy to catch, gets along with everyone, and anything. Rio has always been sound and maintains a healthy weight on hay alone. ... He will pick up his correct lead, but as he grows, he has lost some of his athletic ability to pick up a nice, balanced trot to canter transition.
