About this horse

SOLD Skills: Driving, Kid Safe, Team Driving, Trail, Trail Riding Honey is a 20+ year old Belgian mare. She has been on our farm for over 3 years. She is safe for any level rider, she even went to a kids summer camp for 2 years for us. She did amazing but due to the fact she is getting older and she has some weakness in her back end we had to pull her out of our camp string. The weakness in her back end we assume is due to old age and achy joints. She is still sound for light work. I do have a video of her moving around if interested I can send that to you. It is not very noticeable it just seems like she doesn’t pick up her hind feet quite as high as she should. She is broke to ride and drive. We have not drove her in about two years but I believe she would drive off just fine single or double. Honey rides very well and I have videos of her riding and if interested I can get those to you. She will go down the trail alone or in a group. Honey is older and is going to need some extra feed but she is at a good weight right now. She is not a fan of getting her feet done but with a stock we are able to get them done and she is not to bad. Honey is a gentle giant, she is very sweet and loves treats and scratches.
