About this horse

'Cricket' is looking for his next lease rider! Cricket is a true once in a lifetime horse! He is as wide as he is tall with a personality to match his size. Cricket is a finished 3rd level dressage horse and currently schooling the pieces for 4th. He is an incredible mover with a beautiful, uphill canter and a bold, animated trot. He is more of a kick ride, but does require a rider with feel, confidence and experience to guide him. While he is forgiving to riders learning, he will not tolerate an unbalanced or timid rider. He is best suited for a confident, strong rider who is patient yet firm when correcting him. His ideal partner would be someone looking to truly dedicate time into schooling themselves and him on a regular basis- he loves to have a job! Cricket is also fantastic over fences, but prefers 2'6-2'9 with the occasional 1m course. He has coursed 1m25+ in the past, but is a lazy guy at heart and enjoys plodding around the lower fences & playing in the dressage court. He is currently being offered for ONSITE Half or full lease at our beauyiful facility in Ague Dulce where he & his leaser will have the opportunity to remain in a competitive yet fun and encouraging program with our trainer.
