About this horse

$6,500 USD Disciplines: 4H, All-Around Show, Barrel Racing, Barrels-Poles-Gymkhana, Beginner-Safe, Dressage, No Vices, Parade, Western, Western Pleasure 2005 Registered APHA gelding Bars Gallant Mikey - “Tacoma” 15.3HH Price reduced Tacoma is a true been there, done that all around horse. He’s done everything from high school rodeo, 4-H, parades, to dressage and jumping. He’s won countless ribbons, and buckles. He is a stellar trail horse, and will cross anything you point him at no question. Tacoma is super safe and sane. Will never kick, bolt, buck or rear. He would be best for an intermediate rider because he has a forward, willing motor. A beginner with a trainer/coach could ride him with proper instruction on how to use your legs/seat cues. He moves off of leg pressure, neck reins, side passes, and spins. He won a check in poles last march in Ogden. Tacoma has mild arthritis consistent with his age and experience. He does best with regular riding and normal maintenance. PPE’s are welcome at buyers expense ✅ Does well barefoot or in shoes ✅ Keeps weight on easy ✅ Loads in slant or straight load trailers ✅ In your pocket, easy to catch and halter ✅ He is the perfect “weekend warrior” trail/playday horse, he can sit for a month and be the same horse every time. We are only selling Tacoma because my husband needs a thick/stocky horse that can handle his weight better. May consider trades for the right horse. Would need to be safe, sane, sound and stocky.
