Since owning him, Sarge has shown in 4-H in all required events, trail rides all day long, and has also competed in ranch classes. He is youth-suitable for a kid raised farm tough—confident, capable, and not afraid to ride. He is not for a brand-new “Barbie” rider. ➡️ Advanced beginner and up. ... ( read more ) Sarge absolutely adores seniors and is happiest being groomed, loved on, and doted over. He is also a fantastic open pleasure driving horse with many, many titles under his belt—standing on those lovely, hard feet of his. This horse loves to work. Truly loves it. Even after sitting for two years, he comes back the same dependable horse. Handles like a pro: Loads & hauls Ties & bathes Stands quietly for farrier & vet And if trail riding is your thing—he loves, loves, LOVES it. One small quirk: When headed into an arena, his energy changes—he knows it’s work time. Nothing naughty, nothing unsafe. He just flips the switch and says, “Alright, let me be fancy.” Sarge is the kind that takes pride in his job, enjoys his people, and shows up ready every day. We have way too many, the best have to go first, unfortunately.
