From the little ones to the hubby.. beginners to experienced riders.. everyone is sure to love riding this beautiful boy! DISPOSITION: Dozer has been family raised and it shows. He loves people and attention. He loves being brushed and loved on and he is safe and gentle for the kiddos to learn to be around. Dozer is an old soul kinda guy with his laid back personality. Not spooky or silly acting. Very even tempered guy! Dozer has also been started driving. WESTERN EXPERIENCE: Dozer has been ridden by the little kiddos being ponied on the trails. He’s been ridden by the teens that like to get up and lope along the trails. He’s also been ridden a lot by the older adult riders needing that steady eddy kind of ride. Rides anywhere in the group without fuss or fight! Not bothered by wildlife or traffic. Doesn’t mind dogs or the pesky goat! ENGLISH EXPERIENCE: Dozer is happy under any kind of saddle. He’s got a super cute trot that’s easy to post to and the nicest little short lope you’ll really enjoy riding! Dozer will also go over the jumps! Take him to the local English shows and really get noticed! UPKEEP: Dozer is a very easy keeper. He stays fat on just free choice alfalfa hay. No supplements or maintenance required to keep him sound. UTD on vaccines, deworming and farrier. He is currently in shoes as he’s ridden in Rocky terrain. He can go barefoot just fine. TURNOUT: Dozer is great in a mixed herd or out alone. He’s not aggressive and he’s easy to catch. GROUND MANNERS: Dozer is like a big puppy dog! He’s very friendly and easy to handle. He’s been lead and handled by all ages and sizes. He’s also extremely easy to saddle and bridle. Stands great to wash. Stands single tied, crosstied and ties easily to the trailer for the trail rides. BAD HABITS/ VICES: Dozer has no bad habits or vices. No buck, rear, bolt, bite or kick. TACK: Dozer rides English, western or bareback. He will ride in a halter or a short shank snaffle. He’s easy to get along with.
