About this horse

SOLD Skills: All Around, Athletic, Driving, Finished, Flashy, Halter, Kid Safe, Ridden Western, Trained Texas is a beautiful pony with great confirmation and stunning colors. He is an absolute sweetheart to be around and has a great tempermant. He will come up to you in the pasture. Texas is a gelding but can act a little stallionish around new horses but settles down after a while. We think it is just because he was gelded too late in the spring and will most likely grow out of it once he gets a little older. Otherwise he is a calm horse and easy to handle. ... (read more ...) Texas is trained to ride and drive. He is fairly easy to drive, is not spooky and does not hold hard but has not quite mastered the art of standing still for long periods of time yet. We don't have anybody small enough to ride him around here so the dog was the best option.(he didn't mind but she was not very impressed!) Texas has no health problems that we are aware of and gets his hooves trimmed on a regular basis. Texas has so much potential and is looking for a great home!
