He is laidback, easy to get along with, and so pleasant to be around! He has been mostly trail ridden by an older gentleman and he absolutely loves the trail. He is easy to load, rides on the trailer well and unloads easily. He is settled in new places and strolls around gently to see the sights. He would be a good mount for parades, group trail rides, or overnight campers. In the arena, Patrick has soft, easy gaits, walk, jog/trot, and lopes both ways, picking up his leads well. ... He enjoys working cattle and is drawn to a cow. He has a great stop, turn arounds, rollbacks, lopes and jogs around on a loose rein, and turns around on his forehand or hind end. He does well on all the obstacles, crosses water, and works a gate well. He has excellent ground manners, bathes, is easy to tack up, bridle, pick feet, groom, load, haul, and stands tied well!
