Registered ANCCE, IALHA and life time USEF. He started showing both under saddle and in harness at 5 years old. Multi national champion, regional high point and local champion. Mainly used as a hunter under saddle and country pleasure/ carriage horse. Makes a great side saddle and saddleseat horse also. He is started jumping about 2 years ago and absolutely loves being a cross country horse and trail riding for hours. ... ( read more ) Goes out alone or in groups but I think he likes trail riding alone best. He has done some working equitation but that was not my main focus. Has seen cows. Would make a great amateur horse. Likes to work and have a job but doesn't need to be lunged to ride. Pretty low energy horse in general but does have some get up and go if asked. Push button. Side pass, leg yields, voice and seat trained. Very green in flying lead changes. He's been sitting turned out just being a horse so he is out of shape. I do NOT know how he is turned out with other horses as he's been a stud his whole life. Not study. Great to load and been taken all over. Quirks are he sometimes does not hard tie. Not dangerous but I would not leave him hard tied. Cross ties perfect and will stand tied with blocker ring or rope looped around fence. Great for the farrier and vet (shots). Ciganos was gelded Feb 5 2026. Currently barefoot and trail rides in the AZ rocky desert barefoot. UTD on teeth. No maintenance.
