He is the kind of horse many dreams of having, yet his kind is so hard to find. Very forgiving and not easily intimidated, he is a push-style, push-button horse. He is a really physical stopper, has pretty spins, and lopes gorgeous circles on a draped rein. He is an outstanding mover; all his transitions are flawless. He has the smoothest rocking chair lope and a jog you could ride for days. Fun on a cow, yes, he is cowy – he has a lot of eye and a natural read on cattle. Even bridle-less and bare-back, he stays gentle even with lengthy time off. Val is one of the best trail horses we have enjoyed riding. He knows where to put his feet and is splendid in all terrain. He is confident alone, leading a group, or just as happy to trail behind. This beautiful boy has been trail ridden a lot, and he has been exposed to all kinds of trail obstacles. If you can hold the reins you can get along with him. He absolutely loves attention, he meets you at the gate, and he will do anything you ask him to do. He is a very friendly gelding He is used to rocky terrain and crossing bridges and logs. He is very thick made and stout and he has a lot of foot and bone. He wears a size 1 shoe. He has a current coggins and he is up to date on all of his farrier, dental, worming, and vaccinations. He is 100% sound.
