About this horse

SOLD Skills: Beginner, English Pleasure, Equitation, Hunt Seat Equitation, Hunter, Hunter Under Saddle, Jumper, Jumping, Hunter Jumper, Kid Safe, Ridden English, Show Experience, Show Jumping, Youth “Uptown Girl” aka Snow is a lovely 8 year old, 14.1 ½ quarter pony/Welsh cross mare. She is a dream walk/trot or short stirrup pony packer! She showed in short stirrup all last season, and is always in the ribbons, rounding out the year with a champion win. This year, Snow has been taking a beginner to her first shows doing walk/trot, where she has excelled introducing her young rider to the show ring. Together they have placed very well. Snow always places highly, and is a good mover, with a lovely canter that will get her noticed. She is a kick ride, and while she’s an amazing pony to show the ropes to a walk/trot or short stirrup kid, she has the brain and scope to be a 2'6+ show project for a junior/am in a program. Her changes are there, but not quite auto, and she is always brave to the jumps. Snow is usually unfazed by anything at horse shows, and is good to ship, clip, and for the farrier. She loves bareback rides, trail rides, treats, and her humans. Snow is destined to teach many young riders the wonders of showing, and she would love to go to a barn where she could show frequently. Snow is a great first pony! She is loved by her current kid, who has outgrown her. Serious inquiries only.
