Diego may have been born in 2010, but in his mind that was just a couple of years ago! He’s full of energy, heart, and try — always ready for his next adventure. Diego is as fun as your favorite carnival ride, as dependable as a Toyota Corolla, and has the work ethic of the Energizer Bunny. He’s quick on his feet but never hot or jiggy — always willing, responsive, and eager to go to work. Over the past year and a half, he’s been my go-to horse for everything from wrangling horses and gathering cattle to halter breaking colts and leading out young pack horses If I can Do it horseback I’ve done it on Diego! In the arena, he’s just as fun! Diego has a solid one-hand neck rein, moves lightly off your leg, picks up both leads with ease, has a smooth pivot and nice side pass. On the trail, Diego is sure-footed, steady, and sane. This is one quarter horse gelding that will make your gaited horse friends jealous! With the ability to walk fast or slow, he specializes in meeting the riders needs . He crosses ditches, logs, creeks and anything else that may come across your way without hesitation. I have ridden him all over the desert and mountains and he is one of the most sure footed horses I’ve ever ridden!
