About this horse

$18,500 USD Disciplines: Competitive Trail Riding, Husband-Safe, Mountain Trail, Ranch Work, Team Penning, Trail Class Competition, Trail Riding, Western Riding, Working Cattle, Youth Super cute, well-built six-year-old, 14.2 hand, red dun gelding. Cowboy is well bred and well mannered. He has a very kind disposition and loves people and attention. Cowboy is really fun to ride! He is quite handy and is soft and responds to your cues with ease. When riding in the arena, you will experience an effortless handle and a smooth traveling ride. He collects up well in all gates, has a nice slow jog and will lope out on cue. Takes his leads, stops and backs soft and will roll back over his hocks and lope out of his tracks. He has a nice turnaround and will slide pass to the next town if you ask. Cowboy is a rockstar to ride out anywhere! From busy urban streets to the rugged Mountain trails, he is the one I always want to ride. The neighborhood scene is just another day at the office to Cowboy. He handles every crazy thing we ride past with a self-confident style. From all the fast-passing vehicles to the usual barking, charging dogs that attempt to ambush us as we ride by. He is equally solid riding out on our mountain trails. He’s calm and confident in any position of a group as well as out on his own. Crosses the river, creek, deadfall, trail bridges, etc. He is outstanding in steep rugged terrain and stays between your hands and legs on those sketchy, narrow single-track trails. Cowboy is multi-talented and has been used for all aspects of Ranch Horse work. He’s really fun to sort cattle on and has experience pasture roping. He has been ridden by both kids and adults and everyone loves him. I love him! This would be a horse I would keep for myself if I was ready for a personal horse. He checks all the boxes and has every attribute that I look for. Quiet minded, gentle, yet handy when asked, smooth traveling, and a friendly disposition. He has good confirmation and good breeding. Six panel tested NN. Good about everything and has no bad habits or vices of any kind. 100% in every way. If you were seriously looking, don’t miss out on this one as he is the goods!
