$5,000 Sparky is a 15 year old Percheron gelding standing right about 16.2hh. Sparky is a doll to be around. He is the kid safe, granny safe, husband safe horse deluxe. Anyone can climb on this guy and take him for a ride. He picks up all three gaits and is a super trail horse. There isn’t anything this horse won’t go through, over or across. He rides English/western and bareback and hack out in a simple snaffle. He stands and picks up all of his feet for the farrier. ... ( read more ) He stands tied to be groomed, loved and pampered. Sparky also loads and travels great and has ridden at several state parks over the last year. He can sit or be ridden everyday and is always the same horse. Sparky has very little arena experience but will ride around one willingly. Sparky also drives single and in teams. He is traffic safe and doesn’t mind loud vehicles. He will stand all day waiting for his next cue and moves off easily when asked. He is simple and easy to harness and he makes life simple to hook him up. Sparky is turned out almost 24/7 but is quiet in a stall when he’s in. He’s turned out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings and does fantastic. He respects a fence and doesn’t require Hotwire.
