He stands 15 hh on a stick and weighs approximately 1100 lbs. Here is a been there, done that gelding that is looking for his next rider to take down the trails or to enjoy the arena. This gelding is stout and very heavy boned. He has a quiet demeanor and is pleasant to be around. Boon has been trail ridden all over the southern half of the USA and will confidently take you down any trail on any terrain. He is a forward moving boy that will lead or follow. This gelding will cross any water, mud, or obstacle you may encounter. Boon will ride in a bosal or in a light curb bit. He has a soft mouth and will bend and flex vertically and laterally. This gelding also rides very well in the arena. Boon walks, trots, canters easily each way, stops on whoa, backs up, side passes, turns on his hindquarters, and has a one hand neck rein. He is responsive to seat and leg cues and is a blast to ride! This gelding is the same horse away from home as he is at home. He has zero buck in him and is the same horse whether you ride 5 days a week or every 6 months. Tack him up tight and ride off without worry. He currently has his winter hair and isn’t expressing his beautiful roan coat to its full potential yet.
