(read more ) He’s big, golden, and full of personality, with the sweetest heart and the kind of brain everyone wants in their barn. He’ll lope around like a quarter horse on a loose rein, or you can bridle him up English and go jump a few fences or ride out with the hounds — he really does it all. Mango will lope on either lead and has a beautiful departure from a standstill or a walk. His stop is correct and quick and he’ll even slide a bit! Mango can trot around smooth and floaty and is happy to bridle up or just be low and slow. Nothing rattles this guy. Flags, tarps, sleds, bareback rides — he takes it all in stride and keeps his sense of humor while doing it. He’s started over cross-country jumps and shows a ton of try and natural athleticism. He’s also the horse that makes life easier — he sidepasses to the mounting block or fence for you to hop on, and he’s even started learning to lay down. Mango’s the first one to greet you at the gate and will keep you laughing with his goofy, gentle nature. He’s good with his feet, easy to catch, and always happy to see you coming. He’ll side pass either direction, turn on his haunches, maneuver gates, water, logs, brush or traffic like a pro! He’s done some ranch work and spent many a mile on the trail too. He’s got current X-rays (front feet, hocks, stifles, and back) and a recent vetting — the only note being a very small surface scratch on his right eye (from rubbing on his stall door).
