The correct basics are there and he is ready to move ahead and continue in whatever discipline you choose. In the arena Legacy has a magnificent long trot, slow moving jog and a very smooth lope. Moves off leg and hand cues well, carries the flag and is an absolute pleasure to ride. The girls have even ridden him double! Legacy is also very settled riding out on the trails and around the neighborhood. He is at ease about all we ride past and is always calm, cool and quiet. He’s equally good out on our mountain trails and goes wherever we point him with no fuss. Will lead, follow and will ride quietly in any position of a group when riding out with others. One could not ask for a better disposition. Legacy has impeccable manners and the sweetest personality. Hops right in the trailer, stands quiet to tack up and mount and never gives us any fuss. Stays gentle with time off and gets along in a box stall, pasture with other horses turned out. He is wearing a tail extension but his tail is down to his hocks.
