About this horse

$25,000 USD NEGOTIABLE Disciplines: Breakaway Roping, Competitive Trail Riding, Cowboy Dressage, Cowhorse, Cutting, Ranch Trail Class, Reining, Reining-Cowhorse-Cutting, Trail Class Competition, Trail Riding Everyone falls in love with Malibu. In addition to being gorgeous, he is very sweet and personable. He is in a huge pasture. When I call out to him, he comes running to the fence to greet me. He loves time with his person! He has no vices. He has amazing feet and does not need shoes. He loves to go into the woods and explore trails. If he could do it every day, he would be happy. He likes things neat and tidy. He picks one spot in the pasture and poops there only. He will do the same thing in a stall. He lives out 24/7, but, he is fine in a stall. Malibu needs a job. He needs to have something to focus on and does better when ridden every day. He is a quick learner and wants to learn. He was with a cow horse trainer for a few months and has been exposed to cows. I currently ride him in a fleece hackamore. He is big bodied/solid. Coming 6 this year. 15 hands. Built like a tank. Great feet. Located in Aiken, South Carolina. Low five’s. He is great for vet and farrier. He gets on and off the trailer like a dream. He rides quietly and has been trailered a lot. I think his favorite thing to do is trail rides. He was bred to be a Reiner/cowhorse. He is not the horse you take out to show off to all of your friends on the weekend and then leave out in the pasture the rest of the week. He is better if there is consistency. As he is still young, he needs an experienced rider. You do need to know how to ride to be happy with him or he will take advantage of you. He has an extremely soft mouth. I ride him in a fleece hackamore. You dont need spurs, he is happy to go forward. If you want an absolutely gorgeous horse that everyone notices, this is your guy. If you want a horse that loves to be pampered, massaged and groomed, this is your guy. If you want a horse that has the power, athleticism and desire to please, this is your guy. I think he is capable of doing any activity that you ask of him!
