$4,000 Skills: All Around, Project Lightly considering offering my 5 year old mustang mare to the perfect home. Harmony just finished 90 days of under saddle training and has progressed really nicely. She has a solid w/t/c, back up, and side pass. She has a GREAT stop. Sit back and say whoa and she plants her hind end in the ground. She has good control of her body on the ground and lunges well. She stands like a dream for the farrier, grooming and tacking up. Shes never offered to buck undersaddle. ... ( read more ) She can get a little looky with new things, but doesn’t do anything other than stop and stare. Just keep her moving forward and she gets over it quickly. She’s outside 24/7 right now, but also does great in a stall. Shes an easy keeper. She has potential to go any direction. I use a mixture of R+, pressure and release, and other natural horsemanship methods to train all breeds of equines. I’ve been working with unhandled equines for over 4 years, have competed in multiple mustang training competitions, and train bit less and bridle less on occasion.
