She is 16.2 hands tall. She is a phenomenal trail horse and has been to and competed in a lot of horse shows, play day competition and barrel races. She is very loving and loves attention. She bathes, Loads, stalls and/or pastures well. She is good for the vet and stands for the farrier. She is barefoot and does exceptionally well with it. Her feet are trimmed every 6 weeks. ... ( read more ) She has worn keg shoes and weighted shoes. She is current on coggins, Vax, worming and trimming. Skinny has a big motor with a lot of go. She has been ridden by every level rider, however, I DO NOT recommend her for beginners. She is very forward and likes to go; fast is her preferred method of travel. She is level headed while trail riding nothing crazy. She can lead or follow and doesn’t mind leaving everyone behind. She absolutely loves play day events. I am not a barrel racer or pole bender but we do it. With someone that actually knows what they’re doing she could make a pretty decent barrel horse; she absolutely loves it even though we don’t know what we are doing. She had a month of professional show horse training. The report was that she has real potential with more training but we took a different path. I believe she could possibly make an outstanding Eventer I don’t jump so we never have though. Her accomplishments for 2025 include: -2025 Midstate Super Horse -Midstate Gated Reserve Champion -Central Alabama Gated Reserve Champion -HSC Gated Reserve Champion -She was also a qualifier for the Alabama Open Horse Association State Show in Gated and Adult Timed Events. Skinny is my heart horse this is not easy for me, but I am going a different direction with my riding and it’s just not fair to her. She has more heart and try than any horse I have ever owned I would love to see her go to someone that has the skills, experience and knowledge to help her reach her full potential.
