About this horse

$5,500 USD Aurora is a well-built, athletic mare. She came off a feed lot before we purchased her. My 19-year-old daughter has had her for the past year and a half, but due to life changes, she hasn’t had the time to continue riding or working with her consistently. This is the only reason Aurora is being offered for sale. Aurora is best suited for an intermediate to experienced rider. Aurora is a great all around horse. She would be good for 4H, Gaming, Ranch work, Pleasure and the possibility of barrels. Temperament & Handling: • Sweet, willing, and enjoys having a job • Can be forward and has speed • Spooks occasionally, Does not bolt, buck or jump - more of a quick freeze response. • Stands tied quietly • Opens and closes gates while being ridden • Good for the farrier – she has been regularly shod - we decided to leave her shoes off for the winter. • Loads/unloads well – loads easiest in a stock/large trailer. • Easy to catch and easy to saddle • Strong, sound, and healthy • Aurora has had a foal but it is unknown as to what year it was. Care & Registration: • Up to date on vaccinations and Coggins • Currently working with AQHA to secure a registered copy of her papers (we have a photo of the original papers from her breeder). I can send more photos and video upon request. Aurora is located 30 minutes north of Omaha
