$6,000 USD "Zara" is a 10 year old Clydesdale/Belgian cross mare standing right about 16.1 hands high. We can’t say enough good things about this lady. In the barn, Zara stands tied, stands to be groomed, stands to be both tacked and harnessed, and stands well in a stall when she’s in. This lady is turned out in a mixed herd of mares, geldings, and ponies and does great. She is an easy keeper and on pasture majority of the time. She is super simple to catch and will catch you in the field or come to the barn to meet you if she spots you around the barn. Under Saddle, Zara stands as solid as a board to be mounted 99% of the time, she will occasionally casually walk off before you are completely situated but will stop and stand when asked. This girl picks up all three gaits easily and has a lovely trot and canter. Zara is mostly used on the trails but has been ridden in the ring numerous times and does fantastic. This girl is not spooky or looky, she is a point and go type with a fabulous brain! She crosses anything asked of her and enjoys going out and sight seeing. She is suited for nearly any level rider. She is ridden by both adults and children. She is traffic safe and doesn’t mind loud vehicles, motorcycles, semis etc. She will jump over logs, up and down ravines and be a little more athletic when asked to be and will go right back to riding on the buckle at a walk directly after if that’s what you want to do.
