He stands 15 1/2 hands tall. Dusty has been mainly ridden outside as a trail horse and will cross over water, ditches and logs. He is used to dogs out on the trails and does well in the front or back of the pack. Dusty will ride off away from other horses. He is very sure footed and takes his time with going up and down hills as well as crossing water. Dusty requires no lunging before riding, has never offered to buck and no freshness issues. He is a very forgiving and honest gelding. Neck reins and rides off of leg pressure. Dusty is very soft in the face and has a good handle, big stop and nice easy short lope. Great personality and ground manners. Bathes, tacks, grooms and does well for farrier! He does well stalled, out in a paddock by himself or out with other horses. Dusty has been through our desensitizing program and passed everything extremely fast with flying colors! He has a calm gentle demeanor about him. Dusty has had a whip cracked off of him, gun shot off his back and pulled logs behind him. He will walk over a tarp and is used to the tarp being flung over his body. Dusty is desensitized to the yoga ball being tossed at him as well as the inflatable tube man. Dusty sells 100% sound with 4 shoes on all 4 feet! This gelding is the total package!!
