Cricket is a lovely bay filly, fully chromed out, has all the makings of a future sporthorse star — athletic, intelligent, and incredibly sweet. She is confident and unflappable, with a naturally balanced canter, a ground-covering walk, and an elastic trot. ... Her sire, Phantom El Pino (16.1 hh), is a BWP/NAD-approved stallion by Presley Boy (international 1.60m Grand Prix jumper who represented Brazil at the World Equestrian Games) out of a Corradino mare. Presley Boy is known for his scope, careful technique, and rideability, while Corradino adds strength, power, and a strong hind end. Phantom El Pino passes on correct conformation, strong toplines, and a smart, trainable mind. Her dam, Greysonstufriendly, is a well-built Thoroughbred mare with a kind, level-headed temperament. She had a short racing career before transitioning to sporthorse breeding. Her dam (the filly’s granddam) also raced before enjoying a second career in the jumper ring, where i was told she was happy and good at her job.
