Every once in a blue moon we get a horse that, no matter what we ask or do, we cannot find a single bad thing to say about them. A horse that will take care of any rider, and do any job. A horse that, day in and day out, is reliable and safe in absolutely every way. A horse that will bring sunshine to his rider on even the cloudiest of days. That horse is Congress. He is a brave and honest jumper, the best partner on the trails, a showstopper in the dressage arena, and the most loving partner a person could ask for. • In the ring, Congress is slow and steady. He is safe and simple for absolutely anyone. Whether you are learning to trot, or looking to have a flashy horse to hit the shop ring, Congress has the range and brains to help any rider achieve their goals. He has three smooth and comfortable gaits, great transitions, and a lovely slow canter. He knows his lateral work, has great brakes, and is happy to ride on a loose rein or ride round in the bridle. The kids ride him around double, bareback, and in lessons. He is safe, forgiving, and gentle as can be. • On the trails and off property, Congress is one of the most reliable horses we have ever had. Any new place, spooky things, rocky trails, deep water, is no problem for Congress. He steps off the trailer quiet and confident, and always puts his best foot forward. He will ride out alone or in a group, and is safe in traffic, with livestock, ATVs, and everything in between. • On the cross country course and over fences, Congress is oh so brave and dependable. He has shown us his honesty on the field, jumping all the new fences, first try, without question. You can put anything in front of him and he happily takes his rider over it. Even the kids who ride him in lessons love to take him out on the trails after their ride to pop over the logs and coupes. He is a true confidence builder. • In the barn, Congress is a total sweetie pie love bug. Everyone who meets him falls in love. He is sweet, gentle, and kind to everyone. He is the first to the gate to greet you, and gets along well with his pasture mates. Congress is an easy keeper that is happy living inside or out, and requires no maintenance. • ♦️Our program produces versatile and family-friendly horses for all disciplines and levels of the sport. While at our farm, every horse is handled, ridden, and loved by us and our children. We make sure our horses are well versed in trail riding, going off property, attending clinics and lessons, and some go to horse shows, and fox hunt.
