About this horse

SOLD Skills: Beginner, Husband Safe, Kid Safe, Lesson, Playday, Ridden English, Ridden Western, Therapy, Trail, Trail Riding, Trained, Western Riding Gold Digger is a 13-year-old Palomino Quarter Horse measuring 14.2 hands. We've used Gold Digger as a camp horse for kids ages 6 and up and for beginners of all ages from 6 to 80! I've owned her for nearly a year now. Our customers often request Gold Digger by name. She has impeccable ground manners, has been used extensively for hand-led birthday parties and pony rides, and anyone can ride her. In fact, she'd make a great family horse for little junior all the way up to Grandma. Gold Digger is totally comfortable riding alone or in any position in a group of horses. Watch her walk quietly in a line of horses without riding the horse's butt in front of her yet keep up with them. Similarly, she will lead without having to constantly urge her to move forward, and she isn't spooky in the front like some horses. If your child or husband is an inexperienced rider, no one would be the wiser since they can take the lead if they'd like to on Gold Digger because she's confident and non-reactive even in the front of a group of riders. Visit our website to click on the link provided to watch young camp kids riding Gold Digger. She can make anyone look like they know what they are doing! Gold Digger loads like a dream. You'll never be late meeting your friends offsite because you can't catch or load your horse. She's easy to bathe and spray for flies too. She'll pick up all 4 feet without a struggle. Our customers really like Gold Digger. She's calm, and will stand at the hitching rail for hours without becoming nervous or restless. You can easily get Gold Digger into a nice jog or canter. Gold Digger has a boyfriend named Dusty. He is available for sale as well and will be posted soon. He is the Palomino behind Gold Digger in the photos and videos. He will follow Gold Digger to then ends of the earth, and she's quite content to be the line leader. This nice, quiet Quarter Horse is for sale and could be yours for just $8,300. You can't go wrong with this horse. In fact, if you want two, you can't go wrong with this couple especially if one rider is a little more experienced or confident than the other. If you like to ride together, this is an awesome pair for couples. They walk at roughly the same speed, so staying together isn't difficult. People always ask why we're selling our horses. There's nothing wrong with them. Quite the contrary. They're for sale because it's part of our business model: we buy, train, put lots of trail hours on them, and make them safe for beginners, and eventually we sell them at a profit to compensate us for all the training and trail hours we have put on them. We don't have to speculate as to what age or riding level a rider needs to be at in order to ride them. We KNOW because they've done it many times over. If we say a 6 year-old child with no riding experience can ride the horse, then they can - and have. And if we say we wouldn't put anyone younger than an inexperienced 10 year-old, then you shouldn't consider the horse for your 5 year-old to ride on their own. All our horses sell as sound with no vices. To see all of our horses for sale, schedule time to come see them at Dead Broke Farm. Prices listed are firm.
