$20,000 USD FIRM Disciplines: Barefoot Hoofcare, Double Registered, Ranching Heritage Breeders, Trail Riding, Western KT Double Whammy is a phenomenal 5-year-old Dun gelding by Captains Double Coy and out of Reeds Poco Ms Whinny at KT Ranch (2021 Ranching Heritage Breeder of the year). Whammy is a gelding with a lot of body, a great personality, and the breeding to back it up. He has siblings who are barrel horses, roping horses, cutting horses, ranch horses, and extreme trail horses; they are very versatile. Whammy was born 3/29/20. Whammy was a part of the 2021 AQHA Young Horse Development Program and placed as a top 10 finalist. So far, he has been trained in and out of the arena, having spent 90 days under the guidance of AQHA, NSBA, and APHA equestrian professional trainer and judge Melissa Sexton. Additionally, during the summer of 2025, he spent two months on the trails of Grand Coulee with Lindsey Jones. Currently, Whammy is continuing his training in Spokane, WA, with trainer Jennifer Kuster at Pleasant Valley Stables. This gelding is AQHA and ABRA registered. Whammy is an old soul, very sociable with both horse and human, kind, patient, and willing to please his rider, ties well, and has NO Spook. He walks out well on the trail and returns home at the same speed. He has no direct show or cow experience. Still, he has the breeding and potential to participate in any of these activities. Whammy is up to date on vaccines, deworming, dental work, and hoof care.
