About this horse

$25,000 USD Disciplines: 4H, English, Horsemanship, Ranch Riding-Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Trail Class, Ranch Versatility, Rodeo Queen, Trail Class Competition, Western Pleasure, Western Riding This handsome golden palomino will take your breathe away and turn heads. 2019 AQHA gelding 'Cloud Invite', standing at 15.2 hh. Solid build, great mind and a real people pleaser. Otis it's easy to teach new things and train your way. He is versatile; whether you want to show Ranch Riding, competition mountain trail, ETS or trail obstacles, Ranch versatility in a show pen or just pleasure & trail ride, he's the whole package!! Otis it's balanced across the ground in all gaits, steady in his cadence and pace. A real sight to see. Otis has gone to town and was shown several times this last summer, placing in every class. He even carried a flag in his first parade, the Pendleton Round up and it's not a small parade. He is level headed, smart and has a big personality. He's a funny guy, always in your pocket, comes when he's called and always looking for some mischief, but in a good way. Trains, tractors, 4 wheelers, traffic, sidewalks, carts, cows, flags, ropes, geese, deer, sheep - none of these bother him. He just vibes with all of it! He's very laid back and that is where his Johnny Utah nickname comes from. Trail riding and obstacles are a breeze. Otis crosses water, navigates all types of terrain, steps over logs, drags logs, crosses all types of bridges (sway, suspension, teeter-totter, boring bridges that cross water, ect), and he'll track the roping dummy. He's gathered cows and will track them around the arena eagerly. He'll ride out alone or with a group. Otis will fall in anywhere in the mix and just be happy to be along. You can pony horses off of Otis or he can be ponied. In the arena Otis it's a true all-around horse. All gaits are balanced and rhythmic. Can go English or western and stand out doing it in the show pen. Otis is happy in a stall, paddock or out to pasture. He's good for the farrier, mounting block broke, UTD on vaccines, teeth and deworming. No maintenance!! Strong beginner or above can ride him. He really is an exceptional guy.
